A new online tutorial is available for Case It! v5.
The simulation will now perform ELISA, Western blotting, and 96-well PCR. Absorbance, transmittance and viral load values can be generated. Starting with v5.03, multiplex PCR is supported.

Infectious disease cases have been added to take advantage of the above, including HIV, SARS, West Nile and influenza (bird and human). Descriptions of these cases are available in the online Resource Manual.
Movement of DNA and protein fragments are more realistic, as are the appearance of gel and blot fragments.
DNA and protein gels can be viewed under a variety of conditions (staining, UV light, etc.).
DNA and protein sequences can be edited to make it easier to create your own cases.
Major improvements have been made to the Lab Bench. All 8 wells are now loadable, and up to 8 DNA samples can be visible on the bench at the same time. Protein gels can also be run from the Lab Bench, although only DNA gels can be set up from scratch on the Bench (protein gels are set up on the Data Screen).
