...and this message box appears with the default search properites. Set the default value of 4 to a different value by typing a new value in the box. With newer, faster computers, setting this value below 4 may not have much of an effect on search time (except for very large DNA sequences), and it will definitely increase the realism of your results (by default, the simulation will ignore any potential matches unless the first 4 bases of the probe match exactly).
